Toronto’s Distillery Winter Village is back for its 17th season, transforming the cobblestone streets of the Distillery Historic District into a holiday market from November 12, 2026 to January 3, 2027. The event, which draws more than a million visitors each year, has announced its 2026 lineup, along with a new title sponsor: Quince.
The San Francisco-based brand, known for premium essentials at accessible prices, is building a gingerbread-inspired Cashmere Cabin on site. Visitors can shop Mongolian cashmere, holiday gifts and accessories, and stop for photos at the Quince Gingerbread Family installation. Quince is also planning a special reveal for the village’s Christmas tree on opening night.
“We’re excited to add to the magic people already love here and bring our brand to life for Canadians in a way that feels distinctly Toronto,” said Kelly Olsen, Head of Canada at Quince.

The brand is also running a #GiftWithQuince contest. Canadians can share their Winter Village experience in an Instagram post or Reel, tag someone they’d like to gift and use @onequince and #GiftWithQuince. Seven winners and their nominees will each receive a $70 Quince.ca gift card, while one grand prize winner and their nominee will each get $1,000. Entries close December 10.
Opening night kicks off November 12 at 4 p.m. with holiday sets from singer and guitarist Mo Guzman. At 6 p.m., Santa will light the 55-foot silver fir in Trinity Square, followed by a performance from JUNO Award-winning singer Holly Cole. All opening night ticket profits go to the Anishnawbe Health Foundation, Soulpepper Theatre and the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund. The ceremony streams live on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok from 5 to 6:30 p.m. ET.
Throughout the season, some of Toronto’s leading arts organizations will perform, with all shows included in admission. The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir performs November 22, followed by first-time appearances from Opera Atelier on November 29 and the Canadian Opera Company on December 4. A Very Merry Mirvish Concert returns December 13, and World Choir Games gold medallists Myriad Ensemble take the stage December 17. On Christmas Eve, Kente Claus, Santa’s envoy to Africa and the Caribbean, hosts an afternoon of live steelpan music and the Jr. Claus Academy Awards.

New attractions include The Immersive Nutcracker, a 360-degree projection experience in the Fermenting Cellar (separate ticket required), and Visit Costa Rica’s Río Celeste Chocolate Waterfall. Santa’s Village returns inside the Soulpepper Theatre atrium with a vintage department store theme and daily Storytime with the Elves.
Food lovers can look forward to more than 50 food vendors and outdoor bars. Chef’s Lane returns with exclusive dishes from Michael Angeloni, Afrim Pristine, Taylor Wells and Arush Vardhan Singh, while newcomers include Prince St. Pizza and Carousel Bakery. New bars include The Canuck Tavern, a Canadiana-themed patio, and the Silent Night Disco in the Cluny Tunnel. Shoppers can also explore the new Cooperage Marketplace, home to seven founder-run Canadian businesses.
Admission is free all day Monday to Wednesday through December 13. Tickets are required during peak periods, including opening night and weekend evenings, and start at $16 plus HST and service charge. Children nine and under always enter free. The market is closed on Christmas Day. For tickets and the full schedule, visit TheDistilleryWinterVillage.com.
